Friday, December 14th 2012 may go down as one of the most somber days in U.S. history. Sadly, this is because of the deaths of 26 people at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut and the murder of the shooter’s mother at their nearby residence.
On Thursday, April 9, Monmouth’s very own Shadow Lawn will be transformed into an outdoor concert for students and faculty from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The three-hour event, called Melodies by the Sea, is the inaugural of what is set to be an annual fundraiser for a local nonprofit, Mary’s Place by the Sea.
