For the past twelve years, Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar has been hosting “Breakfast with Santa” events all over New Jersey and Long Island and raised over $2.4 million for the U.S. Marine Corps “Toys for Tots” Program.
This year is no different. On Saturday, December 3, Applebee’s will be opening their doors at 8:30 am to welcome Santa Claus and children, friends and families for breakfast on the house.
For a $10 donation per person you receive a complimentary breakfast “goodies, raffle tickets for door prizes and the opportunity to take a photo with Santa (bring a camera),” says the press release sent out by Applebee’s and the U.S. Marine Corps. However, children under 2 years of age are admitted for free. There are a limited number of tickets available, so reservations are necessary. All the proceeds go to the Toys for Tots program.
Participating Applebee’s include the restaurants located at the Fashion Center on Route 17 North and Ridgewood Avenue in Paramus, Woodbridge Center Mall in Woodbridge, and all over Long Island.
This year, the U.S. Marine Corps and the “Toys for Tots” program had a goal of $325,000. Applebee’s is also offering “gift packages” with donations of $1 or more to help reach their goal.
