Divorce in Hollywood does not always come as a surprise. However, many people were stunned when they heard the news that model Heidi Klum and singer Seal were heading towards ‘Splitsville.’
Many were left puzzled when word of the divorce spread, wondering what could have caused the always affectionate couple to separate. It has been speculated by the media that Seal’s volatile temper and extreme jealousy finally took its toll on Klum.
Seal has also been touring across the world since 2011, promoting his new album “Soul 2.” Being away from home and the family so much could have been another possible factor that drove the couple apart.
The pair wed in 2005, a year after Seal’s proposal in a self-made igloo in British Columbia. They have three biological children together Henry, Johan and Lou and daughter Leni from Klum’s previous relationship.
Though it has been confirmed that the couple is divorcing, not everyone is so sure. Announcing their split just 3 days before Seal’s new album is released, is causing some to speculate that this could be a PR stunt, to gain more attention in order to sell more records.
Both are still sporting their wedding rings and Seal also hinted towards a possible reconcile with Heidi on Pierce Morgan saying, “Whether we get back together or not, it may happen.”
Whether the couple decides to stay together or not only time will tell.
