84th Annual Academy Awards: Best Dressed

West Long Branch, NJ (The Verge)-Millions of people across the United States watched on February 26th, 2012, the star studded Academy Awards to see their favorite stars get glamorous on the red carpet.
However, the main event was overlooked by these five beautiful actresses, whose choice in fashion got them our imaginary Oscar for being the best dressed on the red carpet. The stars left viewers mouths dropping with white seeming to be the favorite color of the night.

Only Stacy Keibler could stand next to the inevitably handsome George Clooney and have all eyes on her. Her beautiful gold Marchesa dress with that makes her look like an Oscar. Keibler added a little bling with some gorgeous Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

The curvaceous Octavia Spencer, who played Minny in The Help, wore a Tadashi Shoji dress that fit her body like a glove. The dress showed off her curvy figure perfectly. Keeping her hair and jewelry by Neil Lane simple so all the focus was on her beautiful and flattering dress.

Mila Jovovich wore a beautiful one shoulder Elie Saab dress was a beaded masterpiece. Her red lips and 30’s inspired hair added a special touch that complimented her dress perfectly.

Giuliana Rancic who is a part of “The Fashion Police” did not disappoint in her angelic Tony Ward gown. Her ballerina-like bun allowed all the focus to be on the gown and the use of simple jewelry allowed her look to not be overwhelming.

Penelope Cruz looked beautiful in her off the shoulder Armani Prive gown. The impeccable ruche detailing and her exquisite updo made her look more than glamorous. Her stunning Chopard jewelry added the right amount of bling to the gorgeous blue gown.
